NASCAR Sprint Cup Series: Sharpie 500

The Irwin Tools night Race also called Sharpie 500 is a NASCAR Sprint Cup Series stock car race which has been held at Bristol Motor Speedway in Bristol, Tennessee.  The first race was started on 1961. It is one of the two Sprint Cup races which have been held at the Bristol, the other being the Food City 500. The corporate sponsor of the race is Newell Rubbermaid, in the 2010 the race will be sponsored by tool maker Irwin Industrial Tools and will be called the Irwin tools Night Race. The distance of the race is 267 miles (429 km) and has 500 numbers of laps.

Since the 1978 the Irwin Tool 500 was usually held in late August on a Saturday night. The past season 2009 winner was Kyle Busch, he is an American race car driver and team owner in NASCAR. The current season 2010 NASCAR Sprint cup series Irwin tool 500 event will be held on August 21, Saturday at the Bristol Motor Speedway Bristol, TN. Lot of people excited to see the winner of the Irwin Tool in this season 2010.
