NASCAR Nextel Cup Series: Auto Club 500

The  Auto Club 500 is a 500 (804.7 km) miles car race. It is a long NASCAR Sprint Cup Series stock race which has held at the Auto Club Speedway in Fontana, California. The first Auto Club race has been held in the year of 1997. The corporate sponsors of the race are Automobile Club of Southern California. The past names were the NAPA and NAPA Auto parts 500.

The features of the race are 21 front changes along with the 12 different drivers. The Gordon has won Auto club race thrice and Matt Kenseth has three wins and Roush Fenway Racing has won each last five Auto Club 500 races. The race has been held in late April or early May when the NASCAR Realignment was made then the race was shifted to February.

The previous season 2009 Auto Club 500 is the first non restrictor plate of the year which welcome to the first normal race of the 2009. The Auto club 500 current season 2010 will start on Sunday, February 22 and the track will be Auto Club Speedway in the location of Fontana, CA. A lot of people are excited to see this race in this season 2010.
