The Tulsa Golden Hurricane is the athletic programs including the extramural and intramural sports teams of the University of Tulsa. The University of Tulsa Golden Hurricane basketball team is representing the University of Tulsa in Tulsa, Oklahoma. They are participating in the Conference USA. The head coach of the team us Doug Wojcik. The colors of the team are royal blue and old gold and crimson. The nickname of the team is Golden Hurricane.

The team has had a series of great players at the program, in which many of them have selected in the NBA. The men’s team has been founded by W.R. Bergen in 1907. The team has had a history of success including the NIT championship in 1981 and 2001. They have been appeared in 2000, three sweet sixteen appearances and 14 trips to the Big Dance. The women’s basketball team is representing the University of Tulsa Golden Hurricane. The team has appeared in the NCAA tournament by winning Conference USA’s regular season and tournament championships.

In 2009-10 the men’s and women’s basketball teams are representing the University of Tulsa Golden Hurricane. The fane of the team are excited to watch their live games.
