St. Louis Billikens

The Billikens are the athletic teams of the St. Louis University also an intercollegiate men’s basketball. This Division 1 of the NCCA program has the teams in basketball, baseball, softball and many more. The Billikens basket ball arena is the Chaifetz Arena and the mascot is Billikens. The school competes in the Atlantic Ten Conference. The current head coach f the team is Rick Majerus.

In the NIT tournament the Billikens have reached the championship game four times and have won it only one time in the year of 1948. The Billikens have been appeared in the NCAA Men’s Division 1 Basketball Tournament six times and they are looking to become a top 30 program. The Billikens has struggled for the process of rebuilding and becoming a stronger basketball team.

The Billikens had faced the tough competitions in the year of 2009 Atlantic 10 Men’s basketball Tournament which had been played in Atlantic City, NJ. The current season 2010 event will be held on 24th February, 3rd March and 6th March at the locations of Chaifetz Arena Saint Louis, MO and University of Dayton Arena. Dayton, OH. The Fans are excited to see the Billikens in this season 2010.
