Richmond Spiders

The Richmond Spiders is a member of the NCAA’s Division 1 and also the member of the Atlantic 10 Conference. Richmond is the only university in the country with the spider as its official mascot. The nickname is spiders and the basket ball arena is the Robins center arena which serves as home to the men’s and women’s basketball programs. The men’s basketball team is presents the University of Richmond in Richmond Virginia. They compete in the Atlantic 10 Conference and last played in the NCAA Division 1 Men’s Basketball Tournament.

The Head coach of the team is Chris Mooney and the colors of the team are UR Blue and UR Red. The first season of the game is 1913. The UR’s basketball has developed a reputation as a “giant killer” in the NCAA tournament. The Spiders has been appeared in seven NCAA Tournaments. The women’s Basketball team is energized about the 2009-10 season. The Spiders are playing the defending national champions.

The season 2009-10 men’s basketball represents the University of Richmond in NCAA Division 1 basketball during this season. The event will be held on 28th February at the location of Cintas Center Cincinnati, OH. Fans are excited to see this year event.
