The Ohio State University is the intercollegiate sports teams and the players are called the “Buckeyes”. The Ohio State Buckeyes men’s basketball team is representing the Ohio State University in NCAA Division 1 college basketball competition. In the year of 1960 the Buckeyes has won their only National Championship. The head coach of the team is Thad Matta who is playing since 6 years.

The colors of the team are scarlet and gray and the home arena where the team is playing their home games is Jerome Schottenstein center. The Buckeyes have made a total of 20 NCAA tournament appearances. The rival of the team is Michigan Wolverines. The Ohio State university first basketball was formed in the year of 1898. The women’s basketball team plays its home game in the Value City Arena. The head coach of the team is Jim foster. The women’s team has also won 12 Big Ten titles which is the most in the conference.

The 2009-10 of Ohio State Buckeyes men’s basketball will represents the University under the supervision of the current coach.
