Northern Colorado Bears

The Northern Colorado Bears also called UNC is a co educational public institution of higher education and research located in Greeley. The sports teams of the school are called Bears. They are the member of the Big Sky Conference. The men’s basketball team is representing the Northern Colorado Bears University. They compete in NCAA Division 1. The men’s and women’s basketball play their home games at the Butler-Hancock sports Pavilion. The colors of the team are navy blue and gold and the nickname is Bears.

The Northern Colorado men’s team has just two victories from its first NCAA tournament. In 2009-10 they will face the Montana for third time in a Big Sky Championship semifinal at Dee event center. They have won two of the last three games in series against the Grizzlies. They would win its final postseason game since 1994 and they ended the regular season as the first team n the history of the University.

The Head coach is Tad Boyle, Associated head coach is B.J Hill and the Assistants coaches of the men’s basketball team are Shawn Ellis and Terry Anderson. The fans are excited to watch the Bears games live.
