The Lsu Tigers are the athletic teams of Louisiana State University. They are participating in the NCAA’s Division 1 in the Southeastern Conference. The Lsu men’s basketball represents the University in NCAA Division 1 men’s college basketball. The head coach of the team is Trent Johnson. He is in the team since two years.  They play their home games in the Pete Maravich Assembly Center located on the LSU campus in Baton Rouge Louisiana.

The nickname of the team is tigers and the colors are purple and gold. The Tigers has won the mythical National Championship. The Lsu Men’s basketball team is participating in the West Division of the Southeastern Conference. The team has appeared in Final Four in different years and they appeared 10 times in the Sec Championship. The women’s basketball team represents the University in NCAA Division1. The head coach of the team is Van Chancellor. The Lsu women’s team is the best team ever. They have started play in 1975.

The 2009-10 seasons represents the University. The team is playing under the current coach and team is playing their home games at the same place. In this season the team is the member of the Southeastern Conference. The fans of the team are crazy to see their live games in the final court of basketball.
