The Indiana University Bloomington’s athletic teams representing the University include many games. The Indiana Hoosiers men’s basketball team is the intercollegiate men’s team representing the Indiana University. The team playing their home games at Branch McCracken court at the Assembly Hall in the Bloomington, Indiana. The team has won five NCAA championships in the men’s basketball in different years. The head coach of the team is Tom Crean and the nickname of the team is Hoosiers.

The colors of the team are crimson and cream. The Indiana men’s basketball team is a member of the big ten in 1901. The first victory of the team was 26-17 victory over the Wabash College that same year. The men’s basketball got the popularity in Knight’s tenure and they have ranked in the top 15 nationally in men’s basketball attendance every season.

The team’s five NCAA championships are tied in history with North Carolina. The 2009-10 Indiana Hoosiers men’s basketball team represents the university in this season. The Indiana’s is playing under the current coach Tom Crean .The team playing their home games at the same place. They are the member of the big ten conference in this season.
