Celtics, Pierce ready for another championship run in next NBA season
The Miami Heat might have the most star-studded line-up in the National Basketball Association Eastern Conference but the Boston Celtics is unfazed with such lofty roster.
Celtics superstar forward Paul "Truth" Pierce revealed the team is ready to compete big in the next NBA season against the Heat and the rest of the teams for the crown currently held by the
Los Angeles Lakers.
Pierce said at the moment the Celtics is doing its best to strengthen its roster to make them more competitive in their quest to dethrone the Lakers the deny them a rare NBA three-peat.

The Celtics superstar recently signed a four-year $61 million contract to remain with the team until his perceive retirement once his contract ends.
Aside from Pierce also back to help the cause of the Celtics in the next NBA season are Celtics sharpshooter Ray Allen, Celtics superstar power-forward Kevin Garnett and coach Doc Rivers who earlier decided to forego retirement to have another chance for a championship run.
He said the team is now doing its best to get a quality point-guard who can be a great reliever to the rising young point-guard Rajon Rondo.
The Celtics also recently acquired former Heat center Jermain O'Neal who will be a reliable back-up to Kendrick Perkins and Garnett especially if superstar power-forward Rasheed Wallace makes true his pronouncement of retiring from the game.
The team also re-signed back-up point-guard Nate Robinson.
Despite the re-tooling made by the Celtics management, Pierce said the team still has a lot things to do if it wish to beat the Lakers and the Heat in the NBA season this year.
Pierce assured the countless fans of the Celtics around the world that the team will give their 101 effort to bring home the championship in the next NBA season.
