The San Jose Sharks and
Minnesota Wild are two of the items working hard to acquire the services of Modano in the next NHL season.
Despite his age, Modano is still a hot commodity among NHL teams since he is the NHL's all-time points and goals leader among U.S.-born players.
In his 22-year NHL career Modano had been a loyal soldier as he spent his entire career playing for the Stars before his former team decided to part ways with him.

The Stars made the tough decision to let go of Modano in an effort to get some of their younger players more ice time.
Modano is sad with his departure from the Stars but excited with the chance to play to other
NHL teams.
He vowed to continue to work harder to help the cause of the NHL team that will take him in the next season of the top professional football league in the planet.
The Sharks and Wild are doing their best to get Modano since they knew he can bring a lot of difference to their team if ever they acquire him due to his skills and veteran leadership.
